hey guys me and my husband submitted our application through consultant in december, according to him the application is being submitted in canada on dec20'2009 by hand and he told we are filling your case under fast track as me and my husband both qualified under the categories specified. now my concern is how true this fast track thing is??? As my friend just got pr after 5 years. if any one esle who has filed the application under fast track kindly discuss your progress.

Hello,

You cand find more info here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp and http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/canada/process-in.asp For some applicants it takes from 40 to 70 days (or even longer) to receive a reply and file number from CIO Sydney.

To be on the safe side, you may ask your consultant to provide you with a proof of filing, fee receipt, etc. You may also check your consultant's current membership status here: https://www.csic-scci.ca/find/

Good luck!
