Hi,

I just received my report of ATIP; I want to share it with others:

Activity 1

Type: Collect Data

Status: Complete

Activity 2

Type: Certificate Preparation

Status: Not Started

Activity 3

Type: CSIS Clearance

Status:  ---

Activity 4

Type: FOSS Clearance

Status: Passed

Activity 5

Type: RCMP Clearance

Status: Passed

Activity 6

Type: Ceremony

Status: Not Started

Activity 7

Type: Decision

Status: Granted

                Sub-Act 1

                Type: PS/Judge’s Decision

                Status: Approved

Sub-Act 2

                Type: Official’s/Grantor’s Decision

                Status: Granted

Activity 8

Type: Hearing

Status: Not Required

Activity 9

Type: Testing

Status: Passed

I appreciate any responds to my following doubts!

1.      1. The status of activity 3 that is about CSIS Clearance is blank. What does it mean?

2.      2. Activity 8 says that Hearing is not required, is it positive?

3.      3. What is your overall feeling about my case?

I am from Montreal, I passed my test on 4th Nov 2014, and I am still waiting for any changes in my ecas.

First of all - congratulations. Your application has been approved. Your next step is scheduling of the oath which can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 4 months depending on your local office. I think Montreal though is relatively fast. So sit back and wait for the invite.

Regarding your questions:
1. CSIS clearance is always redacted/left blank and is not disclosed
2. Hearing is not required is in fact a positive sign. That means that a judge does not need to see to make a determination on your case. Furthermore, a judge and CIC officer have approved your petition for citizenship.
3. Overall, you are nearly done. Just wait for the oath now.

Hey Canuck25,

Regarding your query on whether the GCMS report should show the reason for RQ & Possible hearing required then , Look under the Location field in the Profiles section of your GCMS report for the following info-
If it says Type A then - Client did not pass the exam, or was a no show for the 2 nd exam or indicated they have special need
Type B- Criminality, fingerprints or court documents not provided after several requests
Type C- Residency Issues
Type D- Removal order is on file
Type F- Possible residence fraud

I observed this info in akella'a ATIP report which he had put on the forum in FEB 2013 under the topic - Cic delays what call centre agents see, look on pg 32 & 33 of this report

Hi Rqcadet,

Could I please have a question for you? The location field in the profiles section of my GCMS report is blank, what does it mean?

Thank you.

HI,

Thanks to all of you for sharing your experiences and knowledge.

CIC received my Canadian Citizenship application since March 12, 2014. I'm living in Calgary. Recently I received my ATIP report, please see below...

Under the Activities 5/ Sub-Activities 1: created date: April 25, 2014, responsible office: CPC Sydney.

Under the Activities 6: created date:May 8, 2014, responsible office: Siebel Administration but
the Sub-Activities 1 shows the responsible office is Centralized Intake Office.

Do you know why my file was transferred from the CPC Sydney to the Siebel Administration and Centralized Intake Office? Have you ever had the same situation?

Under the Profiles/ Files 1, updated date: July 20, 2014, responsible office: Calgary CIC.

I called CIC before and was told that my file was transferred to the Calgary CIC office since May 21, 2014.

Thank you very much.
