New WorkPermit before Expiration

I have one WP to expire 30/03 and I´ve just got one offer to a NEW WP, not an extension, not a renew, but this NEW offer will need the LMO and I´m affraid the it will be granted after the current one?

Will I have to leave the country and only return after this new WP is accepted?

May I stop to work at 30/03 and stay as tourist waiting for the WP?

	You can submit a request for change of status from worker to visitor and wait out the approval of the LMO and submit application for a new work permit when you have your new LMO.
