I am still waiting?  This is day 77 for my wife's file in Damascus  Any news from anyone? Iraqia, Did you here frm them yet? Spring, was it smooth last week?  Any update from anyone... Syria has a holiday tomorrow so don't expect any emails tomorrow. |

apparently and what I heard from a friend of mine who went through the same process but from a different country, he said once they put your spouse's address up it means they might be doing the background check. So it first starts by saying "started processing such and such date", then they will add the mailing address.
anyway, w a i t i n g . . .

There are two accounts, my account where I can see my address then a line with her name then two links, one saying Dec. made and the other says in process The second account is my wife's account which I can access too as I have all the info. In this account her address is shown. At no time should her address and contact show up in my account, due to the privacy policy. It is illegal.  |

Here we go, They requested more documents!! A police clearance from a state where my wife stayed less than 6 months and a family list from her country, although we got married in Egypt!!
That is fine, just a limited delay probably, I will guess 10 days. However, they mailed it by post!! No email! They mailed it a week ago and I knew from my MP  It is not there yet!!! Is this a joke... regular mail in the era of email No Comment |

Hey, thats okay Egycan few days wont matter.. you're doing well waiting all these months .. just a little bit more to go :)
I remember on the initial form I sent, there was a question asking which means of communication would you prefer? Post or email.. I chose Postage even tho i know it will take extra time, at least it wont be like lost between emails. Im old fashion i guess. I have a feeling you'll get your visa before me Egycan :) wanna make a bet or something? make it more fun while waiting? :P
