Processing times of Citizenship applications by country:
USA : 5 months U.K: 6 months Australia : 60 days, yes you heared it right 60 days ( Not Kidding!!!) Newzealand : 4 months. and now, CANADA : 21 months without RQ With RQ, only god knows ( may be 3 to 4 years) Minister is closing more CIC offices accross the country. What an intelligent & brilliant move from the minister. CIC and management is totally messed up. Who is gona question these guys??? God bless Canada |

The point here is to show that there is WORST !!!! So we have to STOP complaining! Most of those countries do NOT face fraud as we do here in Canada!!!!!!!!!!!!! Canada is not a paper toilet that anyone can use to clean his ass and flush in the toilet ! And as frustrating it can sound, if for the Immigration Canadian system to be cleaned up we have to wait 3 years! SO BE IT !!!! Who wants to be in france as an immigrant??? the country is packed of immigrants, what are you talking about????

French citizenship application is somewhere between 1 and 2 years and French bureaucracy is the legend worldwide (and the French are running from it everywhere), so in Canada we definitely don't need to create an example of it.
We DO need to complain and stand ground, otherwise we'll be beaten into misery by rulers. One who thinks we have a really working "democracy" in most of the western countries and government agencies wish and do everything for your well being are delusional. You don't get anything without demanding and will only be given what you're able to defend your right for. People of the west and too trusting immigrants got too gullible after a period of the western countries prosperity and now are being taken advantage of from inside for their softness and credulity. I don't know how it's impossible to witness and comprehend.

Really something has to be done regarding RQ'S and the processing times of citizenship applications or else backlogs and things will become ugly in 2013 and 2014.

They're already ugly as we speak. I'd like to see/hear Kenney's comments especially on citizenship backlogs, but this seems to be a non-issue for Kenney and CIC as it's never mentioned anywhere, in official reports or in the press.
