I am planning to sponsor my spouse who is US citizen. How long will it take for him to get the approval for joining me in Canada? I read some links in CIC website but I just want to hear from the experiences people as well.

Thanking you in advance.

The 50% time for Buffalo (from the Open Data project) is something like 8 months.  With the 3 months for sponsor approval, the total (50% of apps complete) is something like 11 months right now.  We see people report very short timeframes (3 months) or very long time frames (18 months) but most seem to be in the 10-12 month timeframe.

FSW applied 6/09, denied (med inadmissible) 12/11. JR leave granted 7/12, discontinued 9/12. Spousal app PPR 9/12. Landed 13 October 2012
