Transfer Visa through US?

I am pretty new to this forum so forgive me if this question is in the wrong area.

My Filipina wife has been granted her visa so we're excited for her to finally come here to Montreal.

Question. Where can we get information on transfering through a US airport? I believe she needs a visa even if she just transfers.

Can anyone get me a link as to where to get this info?

	Thanks for the link. I had found some links, but they were always non governmental. It seems clear though that this visa is $160. Considering the process we have to go through, and the added cost, I will just find a flight path that avoids any landing in the US. I never expected this to be this expensive, for a 3 hour layover. But now at least I know, thanks again for your help.
