Just wanted to add one thing, yes, it is wise to do the English test. But the English test you have to take is the IELTS test. The TOEFL, I believe is not used by Canadian Immigration. Make sure you find out where and when in the U.S you can take the test. The test dates can be few and far between. You don't have to submit your results with the application. But you can submit it later while your application is under review. In a lot of scenarios, the Officer will ask for the results of the test if English is not really your first language. So it is wise to take it before been asked. |

At the home page of this website, there is a "free evaluation" you can accomplish and you will get response whether you qualify or not in your email.

Check www.cic.gc.ca to see if you qualify.
IELTS is the requirement, not TOEFL. It's better you go for IELTS first and check your score on that. It's not easy to pass the 67-points threshold without a good IELTS score. |

In what category do you want to enter Canada? FSW? TFW? http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp#list grade 11/grade 12 are considered HS in Canada. As TFW, you need an employer to file for a LMO for you. |
