I'm Russian, possible to get work visa in the Usa

Hallo,

I'm travelling around the world and now i got a work invitation for canada. But i dont wont to fly back home to make the work visa. 

Is it possible to get the work-visa in  the usa? If yes, in wich city is it better to apply?
