Hello My husband is planning on sponsoring his son early next year, he is 17. Please confirm that as long as the application is in before he turns 18 it will be okay to sponsor. Or does the whole process have to be over before he turns 18? TIA

The application is considered as of the "lock in" date, which is usually a few days after the date it is physically received. So as long as they lock in the application before he turns 18, they will process the application.

Thanks for your reply and confirming that info. We will be sending the app about 6 months before he turns 18. |
