Hi there, people!
I hope I'm not asking something that has been asked a bunch of times before, but I just couldn't find anything related to my question anywhere. Here's my case - I want to get a study permit in Ontario, but I'm seventeen years old. I haven't even finished my secondary school here. The problem is - My country's educational system is ...Badly structured, to say the least, so moving to Canada and continuing my education there would be better than ideal. Is there any way I could possibly do that without having any relatives in that area? Are there any such student programs, or do I have to wait until I'm eighteen? Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hi
1. Depending on the province, is you are under 18 or 19 you will need a guardian in Canada to receive a study permit. Some of the International Schools can arrange this. 2. Have you looked into the costs? You will require the first years tuition and $10K for living expenses and airfare for the 1st year. International rates are about $12K per year for foreign students. 3. Some school boards for secondary schools can arrange homestays for underage students. |
