Got Supervisa - no medicals

Hello,

Parent is a visitor to Canada for 6months. Applied for Super visa & received yesterday. To activate this Super visa Do they need to cross Canada?

If they need to re-enter to Canada, can they enter from USA to Canada? They have visitor status in USA (which is not my home country of residence)?

Kindly advise.
