Hi
1. Find your job here: http://noc.esdc.gc.ca/English/noc/welcome.aspx?ver=16 2. Then check the Matrix to see if your job is NOC A, B or O. here: http://noc.esdc.gc.ca/English/NOC/Matrix.aspx?ver=16 |

Your National Occupation Classification (NOC) code is the number the job is listed under in Canada’s official job classification system. In certain cases, such as the Federal Skilled Worker Program, candidates require a minimum of one year of work experience to qualify under Express Entry. The experience also needs to be in a field referenced under Canada’s NOC 0, A or B.
Work experience is an important factor considered under Canada Express Entry, and must meet specific requirements and skill levels. Up to 80 points can be gained towards a candidate’s Comprehensive Ranking System score with five years of work experience in a specific field. Candidates can also accumulate work experience while they are in the Express Entry Pool, scoring extra points while in the pool. |
