Hi
I have an open work permit. I would like to know if I can volunteer to help at a school and if not then is there anything i have to do, to be able to do so? Thank you Kind regards |

Hi
1. There is nothing stopping you from volunteering if you have the OWP. |

The thing is that on my permit it says "not authorized to work in childcare, primary/secondary school teachings, health service field occupations", so I was wondering whether I could volunteer to help or not?

"work" means doing something for consideration (salary)
when you volunteer you do not receive any consideration so that is not considered work
