Hello dear members,
During my last year of Master's program (in Turkey), I've been working full time. I've heard that work experience obtained while studying does not count. Do you know if that is correct? Thank you in advance |

In order for your work experience to count for permanent residency through the Express Entry application for Federal Skilled Workers, the employment needs to be:
- of skill level 0, A or B - you can find the skill level through this website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp - paid - full time (at least 30 hours per week or an equivalent amount of part-time work - continuous work for at least 1 year However, if the work experience is part of your education (such as co-op or apprenticeship), it will not count.
