Health Insurance until OHIP kicks in

Appologies in advance if this is in the incorrect forum and/or it has been answered before. Apparently, I 'do not have permission' to do searches Tongue

My question is not directly related to our immigration process, but is indirectly so. My wife finally landed at Pearson on the 23rd and got through without a hitch Big smile. The Ontario Health Insurance Plan coverage takes 3 months from the landing date before taking effect. I was wondering if anyone knew of any health insurance that can be purached that:
  1. Is comparible to OHIP
  2. Can be purchased on a monthly or quarterly basis

Any suggestions would be great!
