well yeah I do but I've applied for My wife's citizenship in August 2009 so this thread is for her & alot of ppl with her who applied in August 2009.

Thanx canvis2006 well yeah you are right! we can only have some updates after feb. 2010 or maybe later than that as I read somewhere maybe from you it's taking 7 months for 1st update now..

Thats what it seems, because CIC is so slow in opening and processing applications. Plus the holidays are fast approaching, and most govt employees are busy in parties/lunches and shopping now. We can't expect them to work properly until new year anyways....

I am guessing we should not expect anything until mid February (hopefully).  We probably should focus on enjoying the holidays and forgetting about this long process.
