my timeline: sept 25, 2009 received application package cic vegreville oct 31, 2009 start processing and now i'm checking my ecas everyday but still the same. i think still a long way to go hope not. how about you? |

I'm in the live-in-caregiver program. I don't have any dependants but still interested in hearing other people's cases even if different from mine.

i think we have the same length of waiting time... lets wait and see wat happens nxt. but good for you your under work permit not like me i don't wats gonna happen with my application. i hope everything is going okey...

Yeah, I believe so, too. Not same as the caregivers who have dependendants though... and if i'm not mistaken, you'll have your PR in 6 months. I'll have my AIP and OWP in 6 months (provided everything goes well)... It's interesting.

Do you not have a work permit at the moment? Did you have a work permit when you applied? Are you still working where you used to? I'm not sure if it works to be under implied status with you. I know I will be under implied status after December 15th. I'll still be working for the same employer. CIC requested for a letter from my employer that i'll still be working for them, and that's enough for them at the moment. What are you nervous about? Maybe we can figure it out here and by calling CIC... this way you'll rest better at night.

originally i'm under live-in caregiver program i worked 9 months from my previous employer. i get pregnant so i stopped working. we get married last june 6, and my husband sponsor me under spouse category. i hope it will not take long coz were planning to visit our homeland nxt year. let's just pray right?...

I sent my inland application on October 20, 2009 for an inland spousal sponsorship. I have been checking e-case but no updates yet. I called CIC yesterday and they said it will be 2 -3 months before they can start processing my application.
