Application mailed on April 14, 2009
Received by CPC Sydney on April 16, 2009
E-Cas updated as received on September 18, 2009
Acknowledgement and booklet (A Look at Canada) received on October 20,2009
E-Cas changed to in-process on November 17, 2009
File transfered to CIC Scarborough on December 29, 2009
Citizenship test scheduled on February 26, 2010

Receiving Test date in about 10 months is not bad. Scarborough CIC is not as slow as we believe and think

Waiting 7 months just for an acknowledgement letter is not easy.....good luck on your test, at least you will be doing the easy version......

I have received both A Look at Canada and Discover Canada but i will read a look at canada for the test.

Once you have written you test, it will take appox. 3-4 months to get the Oath.  Scarbrough is more of 12-14 Month process.

My file got transfered to Scarborough Office Feb 19th, am i correct in assuming its about a 2 month wait give or take for the test?

Based on my experience and present processing times in scarborough, you will get a letter about the test date within 3 to 5 weeks.

Do all applicats have to complete fingerprinting? I noticed some people didnt have to get that done, or maybe they just didnt post that.
