"Copy 2 of the Medical Report-Section A" that the DMP will sign and give to you when you undergo the med exam - that's what the checklist says. I haven't gone through this step yet tho.

I was given a receipt of payment, however no paper work!! I thought the receipt was the proof of medical? Would it have been a copy of Medical Report Section A - EDE/EFE [IMM 1017 SCL] that I was supposed to be given?

If you're applying outland, you should have copy 2 of the medical report

If you're applying inland, you just need proof because everything is sent away from the DMP to the visa office. I would think a photocopy of the receipt would be sufficient

Ahh then they did it wrong. This happened to someone else recently. Call the doctor and inform them of the mistake. They should be able to fix it for you.

I would guess they processed it as inland rather than outland so your stuff was improperly sent.

You should get back a green form with your photo attached to put in with your paperwork, I'm applying outland and that's exactly what I got back after my appointment. That's sent to your Visa office so they can get to your medical report.

I will be applying outland to London as well and it says copy 2 of the form IMM 1017 signed by the examining doctor on the Sponsor's checklist and the Immigrant Checklist is says what I had noted before. I would call the doctor's office and see if you can sort something out and make sure they know what form this is.

How the hell are these idiots not getting it right, they are picked, and therefore instructed by CIC.
"Will this matter a year from now?"
Probably, this is gonna be a one hell of a long journey.

Not to mention, they're doctors with years of schooling. :P

I did tell the DMP that I was applying outland and also stated on the form that I gave her "For applications processed OUTSIDE Canada",

At the time of my medical the DMP only asked for 3 of the 4 photographs the DMP had asked me to bring, which I questioned, I was told that they ask for 4 photos so that all 3 photos they require are identical, is this wrong also?
