Don't want to scare you, but you have a long long wait ahead of you. Try to concentrate on other aspects of life for about a year or so!

Hi,
Please add me to the table.

Application sent: July 12, 2010
Received: July 15
Ecas showing received: November 10.

I checked Ecas once last week and it did not show the application as received. I checked again today and it did. So it was updated sometime within the last 7 days.

Seems that CIC has cut down on the time they are taking to open applications. Mine took under 4 months, but I see that it took as long as 7 months for people who applied in Nov/Dec.

Hopefully this suggests that they will start to process applications sooner too.

looks like things is moving along at a faster pace...feeling optimistic.

Yes it seems so, but i think the process only improved for showing on ECAS, else there is no evidence it's improving in processing and transfer stages.
