Hi everyone,

There used to be thread for applicants from Vancouver (Vancouver 2009/2010 applicants) but unfortunately all the active members (happytaz, lupo, blknw, ubcer,...) are already Canadian citizens and hence that thread is dead.

I am creating this new thread and hope that ALL the applicants from Vancouver will share their timelines. I will start with mine:

Application Sent: 18 Sep. 2009
Application Received (Post): 22 Sep. 2009
Application Received (E-Cas): 23 Sep. 2009
E-Cas Status: 27 Feb. 2010
In Process: 29 June 2010
Transfer to Vancouver office: 29 Sep. 2010
Test date: 29 Oct. 2010
UPDATE: Oath : December 1 2010 :)

I have read almost all the posts in the previous thread for Vancouver applicants and I have realized that the time between test date and oath ceremony is usually 2-3 months. So I hope that everything goes according to the plan I can be a citizen by the end of January 2011 (or maybe end of this year Wink)

I hope to see all Vancouver applicants here Tongue

Hi rexyu38,
There is Nov/Dec thread on this forum and as you are Nov applicant, I suggest to visit it in order to see your time line.

You can also participate with others. Just request kal_ottawa or Bohlen to register your name. You can provide the same data to them

Thanks,

Good luck Ahmar. I've never been to Hamilton but I've heard it is a beautiful city.

I have started reading the "Discover Canada" book for the 2nd time (I read it once a few months ago when I received it). The question is:

Do we need to know the name of all these explorers and the dates of all these wars?!? Cry

Any idea?

Thanks vancouver2,

Canada is overall naturally beautiful country. I suggest to review the posts in "Discover Canada Thread" on top of this forum initiated by canvis2006 that will be quite helpful to you to know recent model of paper.

Don't take too much stress, relax and keep your eyes busy with test preparation.
