Hi. Just have a quick question regarding aliases.
My wife & I each have an e-mail account which was created/registered using an alias. If some of the e-mails I will be providing in our package as proof of relationship were taken from those e-mail accounts, should my wife indicate that alias name in question #3 of the Background/Declaration form? Or does the CIC refer to a more professional type of alias in that question, like an author's pen name or an actor's stage name?
Appreciate your feedback. Thank you. Edited by SteelAce - 30 Mar 2010 at 5:06pm |

I don't see why you would need to list those
As long as you never operated under them for anything in real life, it doesn't affect anything legally. I'd just tuck in a letter explaining why you used different names on top of the e-mails if you're including them as proof. The IO will need to understand what was going on. |

Email names are user names, they are not legally used names. For instance, how many of your work mates call you SteelAce? It is a username that you use online to keep you unique, her maiden name is an alias, micheal may be known as mike, a change of name deed perhaps, but I be damned if Im signing anything off as redeagle in my application

His user name was "eeeek"?
Why would he find it distracting for her to be shouting out "eeeek, eeeek, eeeek"? (I'm bad -- I couldn't resist.)

The easy thing to do is to call everyone baby, you never get the wrong name then

Must say I had no clue that my question would lead to past exclamations in someone's boudoir... hehehe... but thanks for the input guys & gals.
@boundary47
Hehehe... personally I would find it distracting to hear "eeeek, eeeek, eeeek" since it would make me think my partner just saw a mouse run by instead of... ... hehehe.
@audball
Good story. Thanks for sharing.
