I am eligible to apply for citizenship early March 2010. I live in Trois-Rivieres in Quebec. I see a few threads here with title grouping the members of certain cities. I wonder, if the processing time varies based on the residence province/city of the applicant?

thank you.

Yes it does 3rsaku,
CPC Sydney has a common standard processing time, but local CIC offices' processing times for each stage vary depends on the number of judges servicing those offices and the volume of applications.

Lupo,

Where did you get the info ? Can you give us the link ?

It makes more sens since the population in BC is 4.4 million. Since we are 1 million more than Alberta it is normal we have more judges.

I'm blind !

Edmontonresident, Lupo is right. There are 6 judges : 1 in Victoria and 5 in Vancouver Metro.

I feel better now !

Certains de nos amie(s) Quebecois maitrisent la deuxième langue officielle !

But let's go back to English. The link Edmontonresident gave us is very useful.

I hope Mr Harper will increase the CIC budget to hire more agents and judges. We will know that in March after he goes back to work. I wonder if I can ask my boss for 3 months vacation.
