A new Query to throw for discussion here:
IF some one have only First Name in passport with no last name!
Is Canadian emmbassy have problem with it; means are they putting any objection to it.
Just the first name, in passport as no last name in the rest of the documents including date of birth Cert. , Educatation Cert. , etc
Plz do advised for this query if anyone came across with this kind of situation.
Thanks,

If that is the name you have, that is the name they should take, just make it clear to them in a cover letter that you have no last name. They should take what is on the passport and I doubt there will be any problems if this matches thbirth certificate.

"Will this matter a year from now?"
Probably, this is gonna be a one hell of a long journey. |

Interesting! may I ask you how it is that the person in question came about having no last name. Is this normal in some places?
