Saturday, July 31 e=cas changed for my sponsorship application. Said: Decision made, letter has been sent July 28 regarding your sponsorship application. Please consider delays in mail before contacting us.Does this sound like the standard e-cas format for sponsorship approval?
If so, does anyone here know how long it may take for my wife to receive PR?
I think we have included all of the required information.
Thanks for any help!!

Yes this is the standard e-cas message that everyone gets when "decision made". However, no-one knows the decision that has been made till they read the letter. you should receive the letter within a week. G'luck & i hope it's good news for you.

Thanks for the timeline!
I only wish our's goes so quickly!
I want to leave Canada to be with her, is this a good idea? Or should I remain in
Canada to receive calls or correspondence?
I miss her.

If you are the sponsor then you should be living in Canada in order to sponsor your parrtner/wife. So leaving canada to go live with her is not a good idea.
I am sponsoring my husband & i was given advice on here that cic would want me to be living in canada before approval. I'm living in Ireland with my husband & kids. I do believe that they will want you to be living in canada, i was just lucky that they didnt ask me for a canadian address. I guess the reason they didnt ask me was b'cas they believed me that i intended to go live in canada before sept so that the kids could start school. If i were you id go visit, i wouldnt leave canada. |
