Alright all, I looked around and I did not find any special Topic on Arranged Employment. This Topic will be dedicated to the ones who have Job Offer and their employer has applied HRSDC / Service Canada for their AEO (Arranged Employment Opinion). I request others to share their timeline and opinion as well.

My Timeline in this regard:
Job Offer: 25-01-2010
Acceptance of Job Offer: 06-02-2010
Submitted to Service Canada: 12-02-2010
Acknowledgement Letter from Center #1877 in New Brunswick: 25-02-2010
Inquired update on 01-06-2010: Service Canada currently at this date is processing application received by them on 06-01-2010.
Status: Still under process (but I do not know if still I am queue or my file is under process.)

i have a similar case, i received my job offer on 25th april, and then applied for AEO. Since then its been almost 2.5months i havent heard any news. It seems the wait is gonna get longerOuch

why does it take so long??? it's holding up immigration applications surely...... you can't apply until you receive the AEO can you?

possibly, but can't apply for file resgistration until i have a aeo. So have to wait till then

It is not at all recommended to apply before your positive AEO comes, because of 3 reasons:
1, whatif your received opinion is negative
2, as your AEO is not there, your application will be considered as Skilled Worker Category 1 according to IMM EG7000 (06-2010)
(You have to mention if you have a job offer approved by HRSDC/SC in Schedule 3 IMM 0008 (10-2008))
I wish we could. Patience is the solution.

I submitted my AEO application to HR deptt on Jan 8,,still no replies,,said no more documents required but didn't give any specific date for dere answer,,,quite worried,,hope 2 hear positive soon frm deptt,,,Smile
anyone who got approval wid d applications being sent in mnth of jan???

You mean you have accepted the job offer on Jan 8 with your HR Dep ... and they applied or said they applied from Service Canada ... Can you tell us which province you are? If they applied from New Brunswick, then definitely your opinion should have come as of now (or maybe comes by these days any time), becuase begining of June SC says they have started Jan applications. You are ahead of all the AEO applicant who I know. Please please keep us updated with your news.

well dear i applied from BC on jan 8,,dey tuk into queue,,in mid may said need to change job description,,got it changed,,i had thought till june end HR will give its answer,,but w8ting till now,,around june 19 i had got information deptt s processing applications from dec end 2009 to jan 3, 2010,,was assuming within 2-3 weeks i wud get answer,,but its over one mnth again n no replies,,
due to strict instructions frm govt applications going long verifications,,as i ve heard dey say AEO is positively handled,,no cleareances made by deptt till date but also no negative opinions,,dat means AEO's hve juzz to w8,,
 
really really worried,,,Confused

Anybody can tell us how many Service Canada centers are threr around Canada (and even maybe overseas center, which I believe is not there) for Arranged Employment? Because I noticed even Ontario job offer holders have their employer sent their application to Brunswick.
Is Brunswick the only center for AEOs coming in from various provinces (minus Quebec)?
