can my kids go to school if I study?

Hi - New member.

Planning on doing 2 year diploma course in Calgary. Can my kids go to high school free of charge. CIC website says no study visa for the kids required but does that mean they study for free? Cant find any info anywhere on this. Thanks for any help...

1. In most school districts yes, if the parents have a study/work permit.
