hey guys i got my pr card in the mail but unfortunately my
hubby got a letter saying he has to visit the immigration office
because of the photo.
does anyone know how to get around going to the office? as we left canada and dont plan on going back for a little while. if this is not possible, we can go there with the letter maybe after a year, does anyone know if its ok to wait this long before contacting them? once we go and sort out the photo how long will the card take to come to us via mail? thanks |

Depending on your location of your home address. In some cases photo can be re-taken and send in by mail. Please them to verify. |

I would not recommend to make CIC wait that long.
Who knows, they may retire the file and you would have to apply for the PR Card again by paying $50....and its taking about 100 days to process the card these days...... I'm assuming you don't need a travel document or visa to get back to Canada.....I guess you're Australians eh |
