Recently there were several posts from some applicants, including myself, who were confused by CIC returning applications as "incomplete" due to missing school records. Now that my re-submitted application is taken into process I can advise that when submitting your children's school records you must include their report cards along with the general school letters confirming years of attendance. Although prior to 2013 such general letters signed by the principal were accepted by CIC, now they consider that insufficient so you should enclose the report cards for all relevant years. Many schools would insist that the letter alone is enough, but the evidence shows it isn't so make sure you provide these report cards (in case of JK when there are no report cards issued to the student attach the "goal setting form").

Bureaucracy is what bureaucracy does, or When in doubt, follow the instructions. Otherwise, follow the instructions.
