OMG, I just got an email from mcarrolls ecas tracker, A decision has been made on my husbands p.r. I feel sick now, what if it's not the right decision. Why did they make a decision & they never requested the passport????
Aren't we supose to get a ppr first & then decision made??? Now im so worried cas it may not be the right desision. If it was good news, then we wouldve been asked for ppr first, surely?
Has anyone else had this happen, decision made without a ppr??????? Please answer im going out of my mind!!!

I'm panicing again. How can they make a decision to issue a visa without seeing the passport first? Maybe they didnt issue ppr b'cas they've turned us down. I hope we get the letter tomorrow.

ig107, You are probably jumping too much.
I think they make a decision and in the decision letter or e-mail request for your passport. This is how i think it is done and like the other person sweetg said , just relax and check your emails.
Good luck

Ig107, I am sure this is the good news. Decision made is decision made and when you get your e-mail in a few days time, it will tell you what the decision is and i am sure it will be requesting for your passport. Good luck

They also put "decision made" on Ecas for AIP and when medical clearance has been given... so stop worrying
We got the last "decision made" just before they requested my son's passport, the email came (to me) a couple of days later and then an official letter to my son in the UK about 7 days later. His letter contained instructions on how to submit his passport for the visa issuance.
You could always contact CIC call centre (if you are in Canada or know someone who is) and ask them.. sometimes they will tell you.
When I called them when my Ecas last said "decision made" (it had said it twice before, once for AIP and once for medical clearance) they said "I am pleased to tell you your application has been approved and you will receive a letter in a few days... welcome to Canada!"
Keep checking the mail!

Let me ask you this Ig107, why so much fear??? was your case complicated? or straight foward?? I'm sure it will be well, God's in control....London often puts up " Decision made" before requesting your passport to put the shiny visa in.

Thanks guys.
I just remember the other posters that got ppr saying they were sending in their p.p. but didnt know if a decision was made. I thought we would get a ppr first. Well as you said decision made is decision made & i'll have to wait it out. I'v funny feeling we will get letter by post not email. Shouldnt take to long to get here from london. I'll be wishing the days away. would be nice to get good news friday cas it's my birthday sat & we could celebrate that too cas we're going to see "River Dance".

They can't refuse you without an interview. From your timeline you posted, you didn't say if you had an interview. if you didn't, it's a positive decision. |
