applied to CPC Mississauga- August 2007 application approved- January 2011 Document sent- March 2011 to new delhi CHC AOR Received- April 2011 from new delhi with the following timelines Confirmation of receipt of : 3 months First review : 9 months Interview : 43 months |

The processing time just for approval in Mississauga is just ridiculous for parental sponsorships. CIC favours illiterate and fake refugees compared to working class parents of immigrants, unfortunately

letter received from chc to send in sponsor's birth certificate and correct an date error on some page...waiting for the AOR...

yes, waiting game has started...but i am wondering that lot of people mentioned not getting any AOR till 3 or 5 months passed. In your case, they provided after one month. i am happy that may be they will process it soon.

I have noticed that peoples are not sending all the documents that will delayed their case usually they generate file# within 2 months. anyway I am hoping for the best for all of us.

Hi I sent in all the documents when i sent the sponsorship like my birth certificate and stuff...but they asked for it again..i thought they didnt need to send it..

it depends on the immigration officer or the person who look after the files may be he had a fight with his wife & he decided not to approve a single file today. lol
