Hi everybody!
I am sort of new here and I'm collecting information about how to get the citizenship. I've read all I had to read on the official website (www.cic.gc.ca) and I want to hear your advise and directions and so on. Currently, I live in Budapest and I'm graduating soon. I want to work and save enough money to be able to pay the fees for a very nice school that I've found on the internet. So, what do I actually have to do and where I have to go to get started with this whole process?? Thanks in advance to every helper! |

First you have to be accepted to the school of your choice. pass entry requirements, whatever they might be. If you accepted you will receive a letter of acceptance. pretty straight forward

Once you have been accepted by a school, you apply for a study permit:

If im from Hungary, do i need all this? i cant just come to Canada and start my life?
So the question is actually, if i really have to go through all this process( letters and acceptances and stuff) to be able to immigrate to Canada?

Hi
Yes, the discussion is on study permits, and you need more than just wanting to come to Canada to qualify. Start reading at www.cic.gc.ca |

Also, a study permit does not allow you to "immigrate" to Canada. It only allows you to come to Canada temporarily to study.

No one can just show up at another country and start living a life without going though the process. Read CIC and decide how you want to come. Whether you come to study, immigrate, work, you will have to follow the required rules and processes. No Canadian citizen will be allowed to show up in Hungary with no job offer, or study permit, or visitor's pass, or a very good reason to be there and allowed to enter to just start living and vice versa. |
