Hi Everybody
1.I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THAT HOW THE NO OF DAYS (730) WHICH ONE NEED TO BE PHYSICALLY PRESENT IN CANADA WITHIN 5 YEARS FOR RENEWAL OF PR CARD, SUPPOSED TO BE CALCULATED?
I BELIEVE I SHOULD START FROM THE DATE OF LANDING BUT WOULD LIKE TO CONFIRM ITS END EXACTLY AFTER FIVE YEARS OR UPTO THE EXPIRY DATE WHICH IS MENTIONED OF PR CARD? A PERSON SHOULD BE PRRESENT IN THE COUNTRY FOR 730 DAYS IN 5 YEARS TIME OR UPTO THE EXPIRY OF PR CARD WHICH NORMALLY 1 OR TWO MONTHS ON THE TOP OF 5 YEARS. 2. ONE WILL LOSE THE PERMANENT RESISDENCY IF THERE WILL BE SHORTAGE OF 100 DAYS IN 730 DAYS IN 5 YEARS TIME? MANY THANKS TO ALL SAMI |

Hi
Initial PR status is 730 days in 5 years from the date of "landing" . Yes you can lose your PR status is you have less than 730 days in the first 5 years. |
